Anne will be remembered by a wide circle of friends as always good for a friendly chat. Her memory for past events and faces could always refresh our own recollections and provoke fresh discussions. There’s no substitute for this kind of memory and as her generation passes on we’re gradually losing touch with the wartime years and how it was to grow up in harder times. Thank you Anne
